When the city opens wide.
April in Bratislava will culminate with one of the most popular events of the year. Over the weekend 25. and on 26 April 2026, the capital will be transformed into one big living room, to which everyone is invited – residents and visitors alike.
Bratislava’s City Days follow the historical tradition when the townspeople elected their town governor and gained royal privileges. Today, this holiday is a celebration of freedom, culture and community.
Throughout the weekend, the city will open up places that are otherwise for a fee or completely inaccessible. All admissions and activities in the programme are free of charge.
